LOL I agree with your Saikano review, despite having built my most recent layout around it. Like you said, I watched it for the first time when I was 10 (became awares via an Inuyasha movie DVD advert) and view it through a nostalgic lens because of that. It's the same for me with Strawberry Marshmallow in the sense of... as a literal child it's simply cute, as an adult you cannot escape the degeneracy.

i respect (and completely understand) nostalgia rose tinted love for something... its me with asano inio's works LMAO. and also chise does just have a lot of cool AND cute factor at the same time so i completely get the aesthetic appeal
